Off Grid
Off-grid places a strong emphasis on pushing the boundaries of experimental typography. Restricted by design rules and grids, I'm so used to following a structure when it comes to typography — choosing a typeface that works best with my design from the drop-down menu in Adobe. Boundaries are great but they should be challenged, in order to create something unique.
This project was an act of breakthrough for my design thinking & habits. Combining my passion for crochet & design, I created an "album sleeve" for my typography class. It contains a vinyl, poster & reflection booklet, carefully handcrafted while allowing my design process to flow naturally.
